Holy Day is a powerful piece full of darkness and mystery. It is set on the white frontier in mid-nineteenth century Australia and tells the story of four women and their men. Delving into Australia's complex and difficult history, the play deals with themes of race and justice and explores the conflict between new beginnings and stolen pasts. This award-winning work resonates across international borders and remains extremely relevant in our current political and cultural climate.
